Emperor Lighting is dedicated to providing its customers with high quality, innovative products in compliance with the RoHS Directive of the European Union (EU).

The RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) was adopted in February 2003 by the European Union and were fully implemented on the 1st July 2006.

These Regulations implement EU Directive 2002/95 which bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of six hazardous material being:

1. Lead
2. Mercury
3. Cadmium
4. Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+)
5. Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
6. Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE)

Emperor Lighting lamps proudly comply with the RoHS directive and continue to work towards building better and more efficient lights for the future.
